Business Development Manager | Derby | £40,000 | OTE £70,000

Our client wants to entice you to join their team to promote over 50 Shades of Technical services and business solutions. We want you to build trust and a long-standing working relationship with your customers that will focus on the sale of bundled IT & Communication support services. Your main business proposition offers a portfolio of products & services that will enable potential customers to take advantage of current technologies available. This will help your customers upgrade their IT & Telecoms system that includes Strategic consulting and on-going support.

Your business solutions support services such as Outsourced IT, Cloud Telephony solutions, Network connectivity,  Desktop and Server Support to name but a few.  With your expertise, you would be advising your business customers on the best solutions possible for their business, and ensure a smooth transition for any services that will enhance, improve and secure their business productivity, communication and security. Your role will be to provide a technology audit to help identify the critical infrastructure and services that your customers business relies upon. This is where your relationship & technology partnership really begins. Once you have established what services are required, you will consult & explore costs savings through smart procurement, rightsizing of infrastructure and services, and more efficient utilisation of internal resources. We need you to be the expert because the customers don’t need to be.

You will have a database of warm leads and existing customers to work with, so no cold calling is involved. You will work alongside your very own telesales team that will support you by pre-qualify leads, arrange appointments and assist in providing customer information once contact has been established.

To be successful in this role you will need strong negotiation skills, desire to achieve and exceed targets set, be a brand advocate and be comfortable in Technical Sales and suggesting business improvements. Your communication skills need to be on point both over the phone and FaceToFace as with most sales the customer will buy into you first.
