The founder and product owner Benn is a seasoned successful Entrepreneur and multiple business owner, and has previously worked with an amazing portfolio of client’s that include Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City & Juventus. Your CTO has spent the last 20 years on development projects that include Snapette, Chromatick & Ultimate Fan Live. He has delivered on projects across mobile, browser and server side. Other team members include Full Stack Developer, Dev Ops, UX/UI Designer, Android Developer and a Content creator. So now you know a little about them, what about you?
About you
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the REST API (written in Golang) as well as handling deployment/management/troubleshooting of the AWS infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Technical design and architecture
- Code new features as well as maintaining existing features
- Write technical documentation
- Participate and run code reviews
- Prototype new and redesign features
- Provide unsolicited advice on the product
- Fixing bugs
Requirements:
- Experience with Golang (2+ years)
- Experience in Devops.
- Excellent experience creating and running web APIs
- Excellent experience with databases (preferably in Postgresql)
- Excellent experience with testing
- Experience building high-performance and fault-tolerant applications.
- Experience with cloud based applications
- AWS hands on experience to be able to maintain current infrastructure
- Experience using DevOps-focused technologies, such as Docker, Terraform and CircleCI
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Agile development and rapid iteration cycles
- A background in startups
- Experience working with live sports data feeds and APIs (OPTA, Sportradar, etc)
- Being a fan of live sports and watching sports
