Senior/Mid Quality Analyst | Belfast | >£40k

The fate of one of Belfast leading technology companies rests on the expertise and existence of the Quality Analyst to help identify test case scenarios & produce rigorous testing.
We are looking for a Senior/Quality Analyst with the drive, enthusiasm and expertise necessary to help bring customers’ requirements to fruition. Your job will be to ensure that the products & services are delivered to the highest quality. You will be actively involved in the software development life cycle primarily with the identification of test case scenarios, rigorous testing and ensuring that when bugs are detected they are assigned correctly, fixed or exterminated!
Key Responsibilities
- Testing of software produced by our development teams
- Guarantee high quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of project responsibilities
- Ensure highest quality of documentation for colleagues
- Interpreting, analysis and understanding of specification documentation
- Design, implement and execute testing scripts by converting customer’s software requirements into test plans
- Preparation and execution of test plans, cases and scripts
- Identification, documentation of issues and seeing them through to a resolution
- Regression testing of web applications
- Ensuring cross-browser user-interface testing
- Accurately & efficiently report the status of issues to wider team
You Skills
- Commitment & proven track record to ensuring the highest quality possible is achieved every time
- Experience in writing & executing test scripts
- Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
- Fantastic communication skills, initiative & collaboration
- Knowledge Web applications
- Knowledge of version control systems (ideally Git), JIRA, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Knowledge of test management suites that integrate with Jira
- Test Automation & Behat testing
