We are searching for a lead developer to inspire a passionate team of thinkers and do-ers, that get their kicks by solving problems. Your role will be to suggest and help with creative work that engages, inspires, educates and achieves creative results. You will be working among a team of thinkers and do-ers who provide a full creative service to their customers, while delivering solutions on a wide variety of digital platforms.

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Developer with creative flair and ambition. We want you to help an enthusiastic and multi-skilled digital team to deliver an increasing range of solutions for your clients. You will work with the Head of Digital to improve and update our technology stack and processes.

To be successful you will need to be well organised and get excited by implementing flexible systems that you and the development team can apply to a variety of projects. You will get the chance to lead the development process and oversee the quality of code but at the same time be very involved in the implementation.

We are looking for a problem solver with good communication skills. You must be proactive and self-motivated and always eager to try out the latest in technology and push it in new directions.

You will get the chance to work with a varied mix of clients and sectors that will require you to adapt and learn with each new project. You will work in a team of motivated developers and collaborate with them to produce the highest quality results in a wide range of applications. This position would suit a hands on developer that is ready to take their career to the next level and venture into a senior position. This position is focused on leading the process and idea creation and inspiring ideas that the development team can follow.

• Database architecture and design (UML Diagrams)
• PSR Coding standards
• Testing plans and execution
• System Admin on LAMP Stack
• System Admin Google Cloud Platform
• Git, Sourcetree and Bitbucket
• Development environments with Vagrant
• System architecture planning and design
• Writing functional requirements and timings.

• Laravel 5+
• MySQL
• JavaScript frameworks AngularJS (Vue Bonus)
• Object Orientated PHP
• MVC
• HTML
• Experience with API’s e.g. Google OAUTH 2
• Task runners e.g. grunt
• WordPress
